BrainFood for college instructors, students and alumni

BrainFoodToGo.com is a web portal that provides free print, audio, and video course materials to instructors and students involved in college level courses in entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and small business management. These modules are designed primarily for use in distance learning programs, but they can also serve as powerful components of in-classroom courses. Materials can be freely downloaded by teachers, students, and alumni.
Content is contributed to the portal via the internet by students, faculty, and alumni, as well as by a distinguished array of off-campus providers including authors, consultants, researchers, journalists, seasoned entrepreneurs, business owners, and business executives. Materials can be easily submitted as Word documents, PDF files, MP3 or WMA audio files, and MP4 video files.
A very important corollary mission of the BrainFoodToGo.com is the creation of affordable text books. Contributed material is formatted and repurposed for use in print, e-book, and Kindle textbooks that students can acquire for under twenty five dollars – a price that is approximately eighty-percent less than a traditional textbook. BrainFoodToGo.com facilitates a global exchange of new knowledge and know-how that is screened and vetted by experienced academicians so it is always fresh and relevant. Articles, monographs, case studies, surveys, book reviews, exercises, podcasts, simulations, tip lists, interviews, PowerPoint™ presentations, and quizzes are available world wide for use in on-campus courses, distance learning programs, and alumni continuing education curricula. They can also be used as “cartridges” in programs facilitated by BlackBoard and similar utilities, and distributed via campus intranets.
In addition to access to free materials, each participating college or university is afforded a dedicated, institution-branded home page on the portal to offer print, audio, and video materials that are generated by its constituents and provided for the benefit of their peers. From this home page, visitors also have a direct link to all the free materials submitted by the entire universe of participating institutions. Each participating school enjoys a unique, proprietary BrainFood URL but has no responsibility for site or server maintenance.
