Be a "Tipster" and get tips in return

The simplest way to benefit from the TipMarket involves a round-robin TipList that is e-mailed every month to volunteer “Tipsters.” The email consists of a partially completed list of tips that are focused on a topic of critical interest to leaders, especially those in the world of business and commerce. Recipients simply tap into their personal experience to add one or more items to the list, and bounce it back to the BrainFood TipMarket.
Short, relevant citations from books, blogs, and web sites can be offered too, as long as verbatim abstracts are less than fifty words in length and original author credit is provided.
At the TipMarket, all submissions are combined – sometimes edited and embellished – and rolled into one big megilla BrassTacks TipList™ that’s re-mailed to each contributor.
  • As a participating Tipster, you can also request Tips from other Tipsters on any topic.
  • In addition, any professional organization or personal network in which you are a member can set up its separate TipMarket in which TipTrading is focused on members’ special interests.
It's like give-and-get e-mail "chain letter." If you consent, we'll add you to our published roster of Experts Emeritus. Of course, you can un-volunteer at any time.
Completed lists are also distributed world-wide as printouts and podcasts via the BrainFoodToGo.com web portal. In addition, summary publications BrassTacks eBooks, BrassTacks eBriefs, and audio and video podcasts, and CDs are compiled from aggregated feedback and distributed to libraries, business schools, media outlets, and professional associations around the world.
While Wikipedia strives to provide an accumulation of knowledge, the TipMarket is building a “TipBank” that will be the central source of experience-flavored, practical know-how that's essential to success.
Become a Tipster and help us keep the ball lists rolling. All you have to provide is your e-mail address, your talent, and a willingness to spend a couple of minutes a month to help others – and yourself. Simply fill out the box below indicating your willingness to let us share – the easy way – the important stuff you learned the hard way.
"Experience is the best teacher," but "shared experience is the best education."
